I've got a domain and for years have had catch all email forwarding on it.

Current hosting provider changed setup recently and now requires a mail box to be paid for

So looking for alternative options for domain hosting that allow a catch all email to forward.

Recall that some on here did their own hosting at one point. Is that still going?

Hi @bigdonut

I use PorkBun for my domains - they are well-priced and very good, although not necessarily the cheapest for their addon services.
PorkBun: We allow up to 20 free email forwards.

NameCheap are also supposed to be good, and about as cheap as you can get for everything.

TLD-list is an excellent resource for comparing prices and services. Note the 'Free Features' column that includes services such as: Email Forwarding, DNS, SSL Certificate, WHOIS Privacy.

As for your specific issue of email forwarding, that's not something I have used, apart from forwarding the email accounts of ex-staff to a generic acccount. I use various hosts, and they all seem to do this (for free), eg: A2, SiteGround.

I have just had a look at my A2 dashboard, and it includes: Forward All Email for a Domain - In addition to forwarding individual mail accounts, you can forward all email from one domain to another.

Thanks I'll check them out - hadn't come across PorkBun except in a culinary setting!

20 free emails is ok but its the wildcard one I was so that *@mydomain.com gets forwarded to a single address

I use fasthosts.co.uk - they have a catchall option included in the price, no extras.
