Discharged from hospital at 16:55. Got home at 18:15 this evening. So good to be home. Everything in the garden has grown immensely.
[My darling] Chickens are snubbing me.
aaand now my energy's gone and everything hurts. Time to take my meds a head to bed. It's been a busy time.
Take it real easy for a while, boink, and catch up with some box sets!
Clearly not woken up yet as I read that as catch up with some sex bots
Sadly, by the time sex bots are a thing, we'll likely no longer be interested ...

Thanks (you sickos). Yeah, this is going to be a long recovery but feeling better between needing rest. Everything's starting to heal over now and bruises are coming out. I do look like I've been hit by a bus. Have doctor's appointment for the last two sutures to be removed on Wednesday and have booked an optician for Friday as I found I have a new fuzzy blob in my right eye (that wasn't there before).
Interestingly, looking at the photos of my big scar, it was closed with medical superglue rather than stitches.
Am on a lot of medication to help with healing, but it's so damn good to be home. Was in 10 days in total. Speaking with other patients on the wards (mostly heart bypass), if you can look after yourself enough so you don't need heart surgery, that is the way to go. It's been an interesting experience, but holy shit wouldn't wish it on anyone.
