One of my favourite recent bands:
whoops, apologies @dbilsborough - to minimise spam, the forum strips your links (till you make a few more posts).
If you let me know what these were, I can add them in.
Done! Nice tunes, too ... a definite 70s retro vibe with a modern spin, very accessible sound, nicely produced - I would like a 5.1 mix (or even one of those 'new' binaural headphone things). Personally though, her voice is just a bit too processed for my tastes, although that ups the nighttime chill factor.hope this works
20 year anniversary ... sigh ... superb track from a superb album ... (the videos were remastered a while ago and look pretty good).
Definitive version of one of my top 5 DM songs ... ? *shivers* Very nicely produced too, although I'd love a 5.1 version.
The full set, available on BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer also includes new track 'Ghosts Again', as well as a cover of 'Sundown' as performed by Scott Walker.
Some good stuff in R2's Piano Room ...
It sounds like a female-led Slipknot - the heaviest female vocalist ever ? (Too heavy for me!)
Quite like Jinjer in her voice but without Jinjer's non growl option.
Scary Pockets are only two core people with a rotating cast of session musicians. They have a very deep bench of talent and have many different videos of songs that are 'funk'ed up and they're all great.
Also, for those of you bassists out there, that's the legend Leland Sklar on bass (at age 74 on that video).
You probably heard this on the news - real songs and music, with AI vocals ... sounds spot on!
EDIT: Apparently not all the vocals are AI ?!
