Ryanair (tips): one small personal bag as handluggage, max 40x20x25cm (ie: smaller than EasyJet). There doesn't seem to be a weight limit (?) but best to keep under 7kg if possible.

Over-sized cabin bags will be refused at the boarding gate and put in the hold for a an extra (expensive!) fee.

Priority Boarding booking (worth it for an easy life): adds an additional 10kg carry-on bag (max 55x40x20cm).

Options, max 40x20x25cm

~£10 - simple light 20L holdall - loads of colours, with/without shoulder strap, only 100g+

~£11 - Aerolite holdall - more pockets & features, well worth the extra quid, 450g

~£21-25 - backback, colour options, easiest to carry hands-free, but the heaviest at 700g

Anyone got one of these ? It dips to this price quite often, and gets excellent reviews.
