Anyone buy bits & pieces from the likes of AliExpress, BangGood, and GearBest ? Any preferences, tips to share, must-buys, etc ?

I have always inwardly complained at the UK cost of spare/replacement parts - it's often almost as cheap to buy new. And the cost of misc cables/plugs/adaptors for various hifi/PC/mobiles makes me cringe.

Anyway, it's well worth checking out the prices from China, rather than buying exactly the same thing (even the same photos) from Amazon UK at greatly inflated prices.

My AliExpress purchases over this last year have included:

- angled audio connector, braided HDMI cable, replacement headphone ear pads (Beyer and AKG).

- NVMe external case, phone cases & leads, luggage straps, stainless drinking straws.

I even risked a couple of bluetooth speakers - the JBLGO3 ($21 new, original afaik) and a Xiaomi 'square box 2' (an old model, which arrived pre-used, but they gave me a 50% reduction, no fuss).

Delivery seems to take 10-20 days, and email comms is good.
