These guys are good - MyPicture - can recommend their photobooks and fridge magnets.

I just ordered a photobook, and was offered these freebies to share. Signup to their newsletter for more.

Photobook was good value compared to others - came in at ~£36 delivered, for A4, 40 pages, lay flat, quality photo-paper, hardbacked photo covers.

Voucher KEEPEXPLORING10 knocked 10% off the already competitive price.

The in-browser book designer is OK when you get the hang of it. There is also an AI option (of course!) which will autocreate from your uploaded photos (although I didn't try it).

My biggest complaint is the extra effort required to make photos fill the page, edge-to-edge, with 2mm border between (easy for 1 photo, more tricky for multiples, and no auto-assist).

Anyone recommend any others ?

At MyPicture, voucher code 12KFL9FZ (or HJ69BQMI) gives you a 30x20cm canvas for £6 delivered (down from £9+6). They are only quite small, but you could order 3 (with different email accounts) to make up a triptych.

Just tried this in a private browsing tab, and it applied OK.

Alternatively, depending on your order (only seems to be 1 code at once): MAUD25 knocked off a few quid (£2.25 for me)

Note: orders can take 2 weeks to arrive (from Germany)

My photobook is on its 14th day now, and still not arrived. 🤦 I suppose I've just been spoilt by the excellent MoonPig photocards which are very fast.

And the order tracking is not the best, either >

17th - ordered
21st - print complete (pretty quick!) / Request to Ascendia for collection
24th - collected by Ascendia
28th - departed/in transit Ascendia Hub (Status : In transit, Not Available, 28/05/2024)
30th - Royal Mail "Tracking information is not available for this service"
EDIT
6th June - finally arrived ... after 20 days! No biggie I suppose, but far from ideal to have zero visibility for the last 9 days of the journey. (Some post does end up at the wrong house in the adjacent village). And of course, I had just raised a helpdesk ticket this very morning! 🤦

I have to admit that MoonPig is excellent for cards, and I've been using them occasionally since they opened (an MSE offer, iirc).
Good website, decent inbrowser card designer, reminders of upcoming birthdays (with 20% discount voucher). BUT the price has been increasing steadily these last few years, they push their 'club' for a tenner a year to claim more discounts, and offer 30% discount to use their app. I don't like this type of agressive upselling, and prefer a simple pricing structure.

Card £3.99 + Postage £1.35 (less Discount -£0.80) = Total £4.54 !!

So I am looking to jump ship ... what do you use ?

REJECTED

FunkyPigeon: no cheaper than MoonPig (and website similar!). 1 front photo, plus v.small rear (no photos inside)
20% code: NEWCARD20 / Small (A6) 148x105mm @ £2.69 + Royal Mail: £1.10 - £2.19

SmartPhoto: small card, not cheap. 143x100 @ £ 1.39 (4" x 5.6") + delivery from £ 2.99

CardFactory: poor website, only 1 photo per card, A6 148x105 = £1.79

So it's down to these 2 - decent price, larger 7x5 card, photos allowed on all 4 'sides' of the card; inbrowser card designers seem OK.

Asda: 7"x5" (178x127mm) Custom Card = £1.90 + Postage: £1.10 = £3.00

SnapFish: 7x5" Folded Greeting Card, Gloss (post to me not for me)
GHDC924 50% off (given onsite)
1 item(s): £2.29
Postage & Packaging: £0.99
Promo Code: -£1.15
Total: £2.13

If this offer ever went away (!) it's back!

Delivery was prompt, and print quality was good.

Note that unusually, Snapfish allows 1 or more photos on every page of the card (4 sides).

SnapFish: 7x5" Folded Greeting Card, Gloss (post 'to me', not 'for me').
GHDC924 50% off (given onsite).
£2.29 + £0.99 p&p less -£1.15 = Total: £2.13

I’ve gone for a photo book via Groupon. They use a site called Colorland for photo books, used them before and the books always come out well!
