Hi all

Heading to Paris in May this year for 3 nights and looking for recommendations for airport transfers from CDG to city centre. Not been before so I assume there should be bus and train/metro points at the airport? But not sure if at best to pre book a transfer or pick up a taxi/uber on arrival?

Any advice gratefully recieved

It's 20 years since I've been ... as a general rule, we always tried to stick to public transport, but the biggest faff doing that was always getting from your dropoff point to the hotel (with luggage).

So unless you are on a very tight budget, with your hotel in a very convenient place, I would recommend a car/taxi.

RoissyBus shuttle - every 15 mins, €17 ... but train is apparently cheaper (Price: €12)

Taxi = €55-62, can take 40 mins to 2hrs, depending on traffic.

CDG has free wifi (to book an Uber).

In fact, this looks very useful! > 5 Ways to Get from CDG to Paris – Complete Guide!

It's on the metro / train line so can get easily into the center or the bus - I used to get the bus then taxi to finial location, but found Metro easier. I've a funny memory about signage confusing me a "down arrow" meant go forwards not down a level.
