It would be great if you could use the forum link/s when making your Amazon purchases. 🙏 Apart from my time, the site overheads are pretty low ... but still running at a loss!

Just to be clear:
Does that mean that so long as we get to Amazon via that link, all our purchases until we leave the page are counted as affiliate?

Yes, as far as I'm aware, if you click on a forum affiliate link (blue affid button, or a kindle ebook) but then end up buying nappies, then the commission is still logged. But having said that, we all have browser adblockers and script blockers, so it's not a given.
