God I hate ReachPlc sites. So many adverts and content re-use. I've blocked most of them from my news feeds. And they're only just tolerable with an ad blocker.

oops - sorry - I just googled to get a link to the story - I don't think that particular image was even from there.

And yes I know what you mean - some news sites these days are truly awful, with their popups, auto-play videos, and content stuck at the top & bottom of the screen. I usually just back right outta there.

Thankfully, the Google news feed usually give an AMP version (although quite how they square that with their advertisers, I don't know!)

If you're on Android, The Reading Mode app is a godsend:
