End of an era! ? Looks like the forums have now gone for good, as the URL redirects to this FB message. ?

That's a shame too, as I was wanted to revisit the PODCASTS thread and copy/paste over here.

The Digital Fix - We’ve made the decision to close down the forum. We know that'll disappoint some of you but don't worry; we love our community, so head on over to Facebook and Twitter, where we'll happily talk your ear off about the wonderful world of TV and movies ? ?

Odd that it took so long to go after they said it would shut down in a few days.

I thought I started a thread, here, about it, but I couldn't find it, so lord knows where I posted it.

And there it goes. "We've made the decision to close down the forum... we love our community." Of course you do. I won't be heading to their FB or Twitter pages as I use neither platform, and the main site has been clickbait and pointless top ten lists since Colin gave up the reigns. It's a sad end; I wasn't among the most prolific of posters over there, but would have enjoyed a more active film section. It was nice to have a place to hang out, but now I have finally removed the bookmark.

Oooh. Hello.

Shame the original forum is gone. The gols sections record of the terrible events of 9/11 were horrible but historic.

End of an era indeed. As is often the case with communities there's no real preservation of the content once shut down, which is a real shame [Goes to dig out his TDVDF t-shirt!]

Can still get to some of it from the wayback archive (have to copy/ paste and remove the spaces in the h t t p s as the forums are doing something screwy to the link).

I started submitting the old forums for archiving (others have done, too) but soon stopped upon realising we'd need to submit every single page!

If you click around at web.archive, you soon run out of archive!

Anything gold that we've managed to grab from the Wayback Machine?

I found mention of me from 2006 which made me happier than it should...
