Looking forward to seeing Jerusalem next week.
Highly recommend Life of Pi. One of the best shows I have seen.
Anyone been to see anything at the theatre recently or got any visits planned?
Saw Back to The Future yesterday ….excellent especially the DeLorean…other half enjoyed even though she’s not a big fan of films in general. Fancy life of Pi but not sure if other half would enjoy it
Saw The Ocean at the End of the Lane back in April. It was brilliant.
Jerusalem was brilliant. Mark Rylance was superb (as you might expect).
Saw 'Come From Away' in London. Got late tickets for £25 each in a good stalls location. Didn't really know what to expect from a musical about 9/11 but thought it was a cracking show. Musicals aren't usually my thing but I might have to change my opinion having seen a few excellent ones (Mormon & Jamie).
Great double bill! And only £21.50 + £3.23
I fell in love with wee Scotch lassie Fern on Taskmaster ? and it's round #2 with the lanky one, after upsetting him with a paedo joke last time.

Went to see Medea today. Not my usual choice (bit too cultural for me!). Really enjoyed it though. Sophie Okonedo and Ben Daniels were remarkable.
Kids bought us tickets for The Commitments the musical - for Christmas and saw it last night - the performers were good - but was like seeing a covers band with a bit of dialogue between songs - not a fan - they turned a dark comedy into a happy clappy show - to the extent of a 4-5 song medley after the curtain call. Probably was a mistake to re-read the book last week.
Nick Offerman new UK tour >
Best known for playing Ron Swanson on the award-winning hit comedy series Parks & Recreation, Nick Offerman will arrive in the UK with brand new show, All Rise.
Described as an evening of deliberative talking and light dance, All Rise promises to compel audiences to chuckle whilst enjoining them to brandish a better side of humanity than the one to which we have grown accustomed.
