Went to see Offerman at Liverpool last night - very entertaining, and a fun audience. Bonus: Lou Sanders in support.
Was our first time at the Liverpool Empire too - nice place, good eats and parking close by, traffic was Ok both in and out, and also very handy for train and bus.

I like Offerman, I've seen him in a few things and I find it easy to not think of Ron Swanson now.
We seemed to have a good run in the last month - Swan Lake (Birmingham) one of kids had the job title "wigs for Bourne's Swan lake" but ended up doing body painting for swans - - that was very good - then Hamlet at RSC, Jared Harris and Anton Lessor - set on a ship - added to the intensity an interesting setting and the stage choreography was amazing - just watching the movement would be worth another watch. Edward II last weekend - dark and brutal - probably easier to follow then some others and an interesting staging - also got (as others if you get their early) chance to walk on stage at the beginning round the stage to pay respects to the dead king.
