Started Scavenger's Reign which has turned out to be a very interesting show. It's sci-fi animation in what I would say is a French Mœbius style.
Scavenger's Reign
Thanks - never heard of this - looks great !

Anyone watched this yet ? I started off watching it with Mrs Driver, but it's way too violent, albeit in a stylised and cartoonish way (didn't realise it was a game).
I've only finished the first ep so far - excellent start, seductive 1950s atmosphere, decent effects, convincing world-building, not so predictable. I'd say it's a cross between Quake and Wandavision.

Yeah, watched the whole thing and thought it was brilliant. I've played some of the games, and the Mrs none of them, and we both enjoyed the show. I believe it's renewed for a second season.
Fallout (2024) - Finished the last 2 eps last night - weirdly, the whole thing moves along at a very (too) fast pace until these final 2 eps, when the story reveals are given more time to breathe (but it seems a bit too slow at times).
Recommended for fans of action sci-fi, but ignore the cheesey poster - it's so much better than that. Quite a few LOLs and WTF moments, with an interesting plot, character depth, and snappy dialogue that keeps you watching. A solid 8/10, roll on S2 !
The series is set within the same continuity as the video game franchise but (is) an original story. Executive producer Todd Howard said he wanted to avoid adapting the video games.
At the start of each episode, the Fallout logo suffers the same fate as a character in that episode.
The animation during the end credits foreshadows a location/event in the next episode.
Apple Tv
have been watching Slow Horses, Bad Sisters and Hijack. All 3 have been a great watch so far.
will try Colin from Accounts next as have heard good things about that
We've been blitzing through 911 on Disney. Some outlandish rescues, but it's good switch your brain off and soak it up fun.

We're taking this slow, sipping like a fine craft beer! It's very enjoyable, warm-hearted, and LOL-worthy, but with plenty of F-bombs and surprises, despite the well-worn will-they, won't they. I'd say it's a bit like a Ricky Gervais comedy full of quirky characters, but done correctly, and without that mean/nasty Gervais streak.
The 2 leads are apparently a real-life couple, and are excellent. 👍 (Just watch their expressions!) The only downside is the very quick chat and Ozzie accents can make some of it hard to catch. Currently mid-way thru S2.

PS: it's nothing to do with accounts or office work!
The Morning Show is a good watch too
