If you fancy a bit more Oz-com after Colin From Accounts I'd recommend Fisk on Netflix, which like Colin comes in half-hour chunks, but unlike Colin is set mainly in a solicitor's office and isn't on wheels. Same style of humour though, if anything a bit drier.

We're enjoying Fisk - almost as if Peter Kay had written/directed The Office ! Doesn't have quite the same heart as Colin, though.
Earlier this year I finally caught up with the final season of The Walking Dead, just so I could then watch the spinoffs. It wasn't bad - certainly not the worst season, although I did FF through plenty of it, and it comes with all the same flaws and plotholes that we've groaned at since S5 or so.
The spinoffs however are actually pretty decent, and well worth a watch, with the usual TWD caveats. In addition, some of the continuity and scene/location choices are very odd! Maybe built from a series of set ideas.
The Negan & Maggie spinoff is my fave - some good scenes, well acted, amongst the daftness. I've always enjoyed Negan's swaggering 'schtick', and we see his nasty side returning. S2 next year. 7/10

Michonne and Rick are a close second, but it's a weird combo of hard military tech and sloppy schmaltz. For me, these have always been the best 2 characters from 2 excellent actors. So 1 season and done, 7/10

The Daryl spinoff was worst for me, although I know he's popular with the female fans! They should have told the story in a straight timeline, instead of flashbacks which added nothing. Some interesting French locations/architecture, but very cliched ... a convent and an orphange ?? Some of the acting was a bit ropey. S2 just started, S3 greenlit. Sorry-not-sorry, 6/10

Only just heard about this Dexter prequel ... 4 eps in, and getting good reviews (and I'm a big Christian Slater fan) ...

Meanwhile, the original Dexter lives on ! Coming June 2025 ...

And this prequel still seems to be in production, although I don't know how they can de-age Lithgow ...

This thread so needs a bump, full of good stuff. Finished Black Doves, really good, gets better in later episodes for sure. Latest Season of Lincoln Lawyer is good. Harlen Coben's Missing You on Netflix was really average, and tbh overrated. Wife liked it, I didnt. Fisk on Netflix, silly Aussie comedy - I ike it, its simple silly and a bit of fun. Use it was a light refreshment between drama shows. Tried to watch Reyka, thr South African serial killer show, HATED it, pretentious, copied too many other serial killer shows and movies, didn't finish it. Currently watching Presumed Innocent on Apple, it's pretty good.
I really enjoyed Fisk and hope there's more to come. After that and Colin From Accounts I found (nudged by algorithm) No Activity on iPlayer and Upper Middle Bogan on Netflix, both Aussie comedies - and featuring cast members you'll recognise from Colin and Fisk. No Activity was okay, it's an older police comedy largely featuring dialogues between cops on stakeout and the crims they're staking out. Uneven (too talky at times, and the cops funnier than the crims) but worth a look. I preferred Upper Middle Bogan, a familiar sitcom setup about a well-to-do woman who discovers she has another family not quite on the same rung of the social ladder. Not side-splitting but easily watchable and well, fun.
That's it for the Ozcom but I'd welcome suggestions if anyone knows of others along similar lines. I'm currently rewatching Daredevil which I was happy to see has been resurrected for a fourth season soon on Disney+. It was good when it launched but it looks better now - proper grown-up Marvel, on a different level from the recent tripe on Disney. And that's what worries me; the trailer for season 4 looks good, but... it's on Disney, so it's a case of crossed fingers and wait and see.
Thanks Wowbagger, Colin from Accounts is on the list, will add NA and UMB also. If you havent seen it I highly recommend Mr Inbetween on Disney+. Probably my best Aussie show of all time. Not a comedy but a drama with plenty of funny bits. An absolute masterpeice of television. Daredevil was recommended by my son, so will also look into that. Presumed Innocent was pretty good in the end. having watched it years ago, I had forgotten the ending of the movie version, so the ending of the series was surprising enough.
oh, and Im sure youve seen this.............
Yes, it was stumbling across that that alerted me to a season 4. I'll give Mr Inbetween a look, cheers.
Mr Inbetween on Disney+
I'd just like to echo Marine's recommendation of Mr Inbetween - it's a belter. (I was getting bored with Daredevil, who's in a draggy phase, and fancied a change.) The sub-30 minute episodes make bingeing very easy and I'm halfway through season 2. It'll be rewatched too. Funny and occasionally very dark, excellent performances all round, and unpredictable. Good call!
