Mrs. Davis
"After being ousted from her convent, Sister Simone vows to destroy the one responsible: a powerful artificial intelligence known as Mrs. Davis."
Similar design and feel to Preacher, I'm liking it so far. It's also a mini-series so will be nicely wrapped up in 8 episodes.
We’ve just finished Erin Carter. It’s a slow(ish) start and then picks up. I thought the same as shteve she seemed panicked more than anything in the initial reveal. Definitely worth a watch.
We’ve also just watched Wilderness with Jenna Coleman which was good. I think we both preferred it to Erin Carter.
Now onto The Escape Artist with David Tennant. Enjoy this, although you can see where it’s going.
after David McCallan's death went back to Sapphire and Steel on ITVx - wobbly - odd and still scary

This is excellent ... chilling performance from Coogan, especially as the series goes on.
Made by ITV for the BBC, for some reason (to lessen allegations of bias?)
Two strange omissions from what little I remember ...
The fact he had keys to one or more establishments was only mentioned in passing (when they were taken off him).
IIRC, he also had a personal bed/room to overnight, at one place.

I'd somehow managed to miss this ... recommended, especially during these divided times ...

I loved Arcane (a rare 9/10 from me) and this promises to be just as good ...
Without any measure of doubt, Blue Eye Samurai is not only the best animated series this year, but it’s also one of the best on Netflix of all time.
Created by the experienced wife-and-husband team Michael Green and Amber Noizumi (Logan, Blade Runner 2049), Blue Eye Samurai sets the benchmark with highly technical storyboarding and a well-visualized world.
This has been good so far, from the people behind The OA. The lead actress recently played Diana in The Crown.
Watched the first 2 episodes of Obliterated on Netflix last night. For the first 30 minutes I'd decided I wasn't going to like it as there's no way a special forces team would do what they did. Then suddenly I warmed to it and had a blast watching it (we stayed up way past our bedtime to watch the second one). The IMDB reviews pretty much sum up how I feel about it.

Just watched 4 series of The Rookie on Now TV. Great police programme, fast paced and funny in parts.
Looking forward to Reacher Series 2 on the 15th.
Another new sci-fi is Beacon 23
It's a bit grim, but there's some good stuff here.
