Got a last minute ticket last night for Roger Waters - This is Not a Drill - great show - some political ranting - lots of chips on shoulder - effects are amazing - interesting stage setup - sort of in the round - flying (remote control) pig and sheep, the clever bits of laser to form triangles - simple but effective.
Yes! Lasers are fab at gigs ... everyone should use them!
I saw TOOL some years back (10,000 Days tour) ... superb!
Grabbed a ticket for Electric Six who are surprisingly playing a small venue on Southend seafront in a couple of weeks.
Also, more surprisingly, American heavy metal band GWAR are playing the same venue this Sunday.
Going to see Bloodywood next week. They look interesting.
I randomly stumbled over the Interpol tour, and just booked ! ? ... never imagined I would ever get to see them live. ?
Decent price at £30-odd, and although I dislike Ticketmaster on principle, the booking process was smooth, the e-ticket now sits offline in my Google Wallet, and it even looks like I could send/sell it on if need be.
Now to plan how to get there!
This more than makes up for my disappointment at not seeing Moz one last time - I'm not paying £60+ to sit down!
Prodigy in Birmingham on 23rd November. I booked through Ticketmaster as I had a voucher. Interested to see if I can add it to Google Wallet but not holding much hope as I have a GSuite Legacy account

Electric 6 were very good. The venue was packed and everyone was singing along.
The great gig in the sky.
D'oh, wrong thread!
