Seems an MBE for services to charity, specifically for charities keeping kids out of gangs (a big black issuer). A muppet (his other tweets are pretty sad too), but maybe not as racist as the tweet can be interpreted. He got cancelled for saying that BLM doesn't help as it just reinforces that all black people are victims with no control over the outcomes in their lives (paraphrasing here).
I'm not sure that's much of a defence!

From what I read he was taken off Twitter for 7 months after the outcry. And I'm not trying to defend him, his tree clearly doesn't go all the way to the top.
