Dropped to just £72.20 - the cheapest for a long time. You can stack 5 years.

Much cheaper from Amazon than direct from Adobe (£10/month = £120).

Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan 20GB: Photoshop + Lightroom | 1 Year | PC/Mac | Download

This is the usual 'photography' plan that includes PS, LR, and 'LR Classic'.

The less commonly used LR + 1TB is also on special @ just £59. No PS or 'LR Classic' (just the slicker newer LR).

Ooh that's good. I'm paying £10 per month. Thanks!

I never use PS TBH these days as LR is so powerful. Will stick with Classic though as I believe it is more functionally rich (?).

Just went to purchase and found I paid £46 this time last year!

Yes, I think most people use LR-Classic, whereas LR will be better for new users. I had a quick look at LR ages ago - it's faster and slicker, and a completely different program. But it is slowly adding most LR features.

The latest LR-Classic update added some useful improvements - content aware fill, people select, etc > Feature summary | Lightroom Classic (Oct 2022)

Although the AI does take its toll on my poor aging laptop!

Just watched the video. Super-powerful tool. Thanks for sharing. (Also, went for the 12 month sub ta).

hehe ... well done ... you were one of the lucky few ! This was apparently some sort of pricing error, and Adobe cancelled many of the codes - although mainly those who stacked several at once.

Adobe's new AI Firefly looks excellent in a very practical, usable way.

I like that it doesn't use discord, that image styles are given as buttons, and you can easily work to improve your design to get closer to what you want.

Takes a few days to get accepted into the Beta.

Chatty talk-through, exploring the latest AI mask features ...

And Terry editing user-submitted photos ... including one real challenge!

Thanks d8 - certainly is powerful with its masking now. Objects still need work around the edges, but way easier than it was.

Having bought a macro lens recently, I'm using PS again as LR doesn't have focus stacking. It's pretty complicated using PS after getting used to LR!

If anyone's sub is up for renewal, the current discounted Amazon price of £87.74 is cheaper than Adobe's default monthly payment.

Ooh that's exciting! I have almost pulled the trigger on separate denoise software, but hopefully this will remove that need.

I'm learning a lot more about LR and PS recently due to a photo community I am involved in. Really enjoying the learning and putting it into practice.
