Yeah, sounds like prescription meds (again) caused drowning in the bath/hot-tub (same as Cranberries Dolores?)
he suffered from addiction to alcohol and drugs, including painkillers ... several stints in rehab
... he was taking up to 55 Vicodin a day during the filming of the third season of Friends.
... he had to leave the film after suffering a medical scare that saw his heart stopping for five minutes and ribs broken as he was resuscitated.

I think that's the third guy from my batch to die - others I remember have been a car crash (aged 12) and a suicide (aged 50).
