[NB: your old dvd forums / digitalfix login will not work]
Hello!
I was just looking at getting a new pc, and thought I’d check the dvd forums / digital fix, and saw they shut down 4 years ago!
I have barely used any forums for many years, but has no idea it had been that long! I was a member from nov 2001 I think - 25 years!
Anyway, I see a few familiar faces so I’m off for a mooch about. I’ve kept the same username - so you may remember me!
Yes, I remember the name. Welcome! Feel free to post, though there's not a lot of traffic these days.
Good to see you - hope you are well!
Yeah forums have mostly died off; i used to spend hours a day on loads of forums but now - might be minutes a year!
DVDF used to be the first website I'd visit when I switched on my PC. back in the old days...
Hi there, @andybhoy 👋 glad you found us. And yes, I remember your username too - you remained active in the later-years of TDF, iirc.

Yeah - socials have been the death of forum chat, and all the algos mean that even recommendations are no longer as useful. Although saying that, reddit seems to be thriving (Quora was long ago ruined).

Same! Although I started with AVF first (they are still going) and then after buying my kit I needed media to play, to hopped to DVDF.
