When reality becomes self-parody ...

1) Sunak appeases Tory right by giving Esther McVey ministerial role - GB News presenter to lead government’s anti-woke agenda

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/esther-mcvey-returns-to-cabinet-as-minister-of-common-sense/ar-AA1jS6Wc

2) this letter reads like the first draft of an abandoned twitter thread ... https://twitter.com/bmay/status/1724195929064878429?s=20

Another unhinged resignation letter, although at least the grammar is better.

It's a real burn for Sunak...

I think that's a tad unfair on the frogs.

Poll of Polls, which I use as it tends to smooth the outliers, currently giving Labour a 22% lead over the cons.

This is the lowest the cons have been since the Truss debacle.

Which is nice.

I'm more Eco if anything, and really wish the Greens were higher, but I suppose that's down to the party system and first-past-post.

Amazing to realise that Caroline Lucas ... has been the MP for Brighton Pavilion since the 2010 general election and was re-elected in the 20152017 and 2019 general elections, increasing her majority each time ...

... yet national representation is still so low.

I can safely predict that Climate Change will play an increasingly important role over the coming decade - we need to remove all influence of big business (and big tabloids) from politics.

If I thought they stood a chance, I'd be in like Flint.

I'm so disgusted with the genocide supporting Starmer (#StarmerOut), that the only reason I will vote Labour is because it is absolutely vital the the cons are turfed out out.

I think Starmer is caught between a rock and a hard place. After the antisemitic accusations that Labour had under Corbyn, he can't be seen to do anything that criticises Israel.

Yes, I think that's it too, along with aligning with the US in readiness for becoming PM.

Meanwhile... 😂
