Good lord. You know when it's luchtime and you think "does the dvdforums still exist?"

and it turns out it sort of does. I think it's probably about 10 years since i quit (like many others, because DeadYankee was such an irredeemable piece of **** who dripped hatred at you with every post you made and made it utterly unpleasant to be there)

still the same old usernames though. Everything changes and stays the same.

i was last here (there?) so long ago that i remember creating a round robin where i posted my All-in-one remote to another forum menber to hack their Samsung 709, who then posted it to another member and so on. Went to around ten people then came home, safe and sound.

i don't even have a dvd/blu ray player any more.

Ha ha. Days of physical media are long gone for me.

... and actually dusted off my dvd player a couple of months ago to spin some CDs ... A couple of compilation discs I had burned for Mrs Driver about 25 years ago ... and they worked!
